Irish Trainers Making Entries Directly To Weatherbys for British Races.
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) have instructed that no entry should be accepted from an Irish Trainer if is not fully completed by noon on the day of closing. Accordingly, if an Irish Trainer is planning to make an entry for a race in Britain via Weatherbys and the horse has not been entered in Britain before, it is recommended that the Irish Trainer emails racingops@weatherbys.co.uk with the name of the horse, trainer and owner, at least ONE day before the entry deadline. This communication will not actually enter the horse in the race but will allow for all the necessary checks to have been carried out in advance and thereby allow time to resolve any issue that could prevent the entry from being processed.
